Intuitive Machines is set for a second Moon landing attempt with its Nova-C lunar lander, Athena, near the Moon’s south pole, following a previous less successful attempt.

The Blue Ghost lunar lander, developed by Firefly Aerospace, successfully touched down on the moon carrying experiments for NASA, marking a significant achievement for private space exploration.

NASA's Lunar Trailblazer mission, in partnership with Intuitive Machines, aims to explore the presence and characteristics of water on the moon while utilizing innovative technologies and student involvement in operations.

Intuitive Machines is set to launch its second lunar lander, Athena, on February 26, following its first successful mission with Odysseus.
